Welcome to my website! I am a PhD candidate in Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

My research and teaching interests include gender; science and technology studies; sociology of medicine; feminist theory; political sociology; and sociology of sport.

05/14/18: Tomorrow I will be flying to Gaborone, Botswana, to participate in the 7th International Working Group on Women and Sport World Conference and speak about the latest IAAF Female Eligibility Regulations. I will be posting updates to my Twitter account.

04/11/18: I am excited to announce that I have been awarded a fellowship for 2018-19 from the Center for Engaged Scholarship. I am happy to continue the tradition of UW-Madison Sociology students being recognized by this program!

04/10/18: I received the good news today that I will be participating in the 2018 Junior Theorists Symposium in Philadelphia on August 10. I will be presenting a paper on the relationship between "complexity" and the institutional reproduction of inequalities. More to come...
